Suzette Ettienne, MD is a, healthcare executive, and educator. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Business of Medicine from John’s Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Jersey, and her Doctor of Medicine at Howard University in Washington, DC.
She is the current Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director at Ettienne’s Premier Pediatric Care, LLC in Bowie, Maryland. Dr. Ettienne has proven expertise in medical practice management, talent acquisition, and policy and strategy development and implementation.
Dr. Ettienne became an entrepreneur after a very rewarding stay at the Children’s Medical Care Center.
Under the invitation of former President George W. Bush, Dr. Ettienne served as an advisory member on the Federal Interagency Coordinating Council, developing policy to better facilitate the delivery of care to children with disabilities across the United States. She has served on the State of Maryland Interagency Coordinating Council, Infants & Toddlers Program, and the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program developing policy to promote better health for Maryland children.
Education remains one of Dr. Ettienne passions, and she served as an adjunct Professor at Howard University in Washington, DC. She is frequently asked to be a contributor on contemporary adolescent and pediatric issues, and is a National Honor Scholar with the Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key and Beta Kappa Chi Honor Societies.
